This classic of magic is best accomplished using the silks supplied here and a Change Bag (sold separately) . The basic effect is as follows: Three silks are shown. One red, one white, and one blue. The silks are placed in the Change Bag but the blue silk is allowed to fall to the floor apparently by accident. The magician pretends not to notice the silk on the floor and continues to perform as though nothing were wrong. With a flourish he (or a spectator) removes the silks from the bag and they have transformed into a flag. Only problem is the Stars are missing. The performer acts surprised and the audience is usually quick to point out the blue silk on the floor. The blue silk and the mis-made flag are put back in the bag and this time when the flag is removed the colors are reversed. Nothing seems to be going right! The mis-made flag is put back in the bag once again and this time it finally comes out as a normal flag. There is plenty of entertainment in this effect. The flags are 16 inches by 18 inches. 100% silk.
