The magician has a volunteer select one card from the deck. The volunteer signs the card and returns it to the pack. The spectator then shuffles the cards.
Next, you show a plastic water bottle. You wrap some duct tape around the bottle and explain that you will throw the deck of cards in the air and then will hit them with the plastic bottle. The spectators card you explain will stick to the duct tape.
However, instead of the signed card sticking to the bottle, all cards drop to the floor. You must have hit the cards too hard. You peel off the duct tape and magically the signed card is inside the bottle.
