Invisible Coin

Show an empty glass stating you have a penny inside of it. The reason they do not see it is because it's "invisible". Now, pretend to pour the penny out of the glass on to the table. Pick up the invisible penny from the table and pretend to read the date on it. Place the invisible coin back on the table. Take off the top card of the deck using it like a scoop, you pretend to flip the penny heads up. Place the card you have in your hand on the bottom of the deck. Place a glass on top of the deck, mouth down. Pick up the invisible coin and place it on top of the inverted glass. State your going to penetrate the penny right through the top of the glass. Bring your right hand down sharply on top of the glass. The audience will see a quarter on top of the deck. Remove the glass with your right hand, while showing the quarter on top of the deck. Dump the quarter off the deck into the glass, where it has turned into a penny. Ribbon spread the cards face up and show your hands empty. This is one of the most interesting and entertaining close-up effects that we have had the pleasure to introduce.
