The little known "Chinese Goblet Escape" is an amazing illusion for platform, parlor or smaller venues.
A chain is looped around a cut glass goblet and placed into a solid cherry case. The chain is passed through a small opening in the front of the door and the door latched. The cabinet is locked. And the chain passes through the goblet stem and is pulled out of the opening. The door is opened and the goblet and chain are still intact.
