This is a classic effect wherein you show two sticks, one with a long string and tassel and one with a short string and tassel.
When the short string is pulled, it becomes long and the long becomes short!
If we pull on the short string it becomes long and the ... long becomes short. Are they connected in some way.
The performer separates the two sticks and there is no connection yet the long string becomes short and the short becomes long, even when the sticks are held completely apart!
