A plate is displayed on a stand. The performer draws attention to the plate’s color, and then turns the plate around on the stand. The performer displays an envelope with a blank circular disc inside. The disc is closed in the envelope and the envelope is tapped against the plate. Instantly, the performer turns the plate around to show that the middle pattern of the plate has vanished. The envelope is opened to reveal the disc with pattern now on it. This is a very visual effect that can be done in both parlor or stage. Very easy to do.
