Elastraflex Coated, Non Latex Bands

When I first moved to Las Vegas, I worked for Magic Masters, an upscale magic shop in Caesar’s Palace. Soon after Caesar’s Magical Empire was built, a huge magic show complex that was produced by the Magic Castle. It hired many magic entertainers, some full time, and some specialty acts. I asked one of the non magician employees what was the best trick he saw there. His response was immediate, Michael Ammar doing the unlinking rubber bands.
I asked him what made the trick so magical. He said that it looked like the rubber bands just melted apart. It looked like real magic. For me the best explanation for Micael Ammar’s signature trick is his At The Table Lecture which has just been made available on DVD.
Joe Rindfleisch has just put one the market Rainbow Rubber Bands. We played around with them at The Magic Warehouse, and I immediately bought a bag of them. For me, they are by far the best rubber bands on the market to perform magic tricks with.
They are coated with Elastraflex. I have no idea what this is, but it allows the bands to be stretched longer with less breakage. They also have a great feel to them. We couldn’t stop playing with them.
