A fan of regular size cards repeatedly diminishes several times to half, then a quarter, then on eighth, and finally one sixteenth the original size. It then vanishes altogether. The special cards and gimmicks supplied make this a very easy and visually effective routine to perform. There are many types of card change boxes, and this one is clean, different and very convincing when handled correctly. It appears as an ordinary black box with a clear sliding lid, so that the contents are visible at all times from the top. This is an automatic version of the classic effect, where a solid metal ring penetrates off or on a piece of rope. This version requires no manipulative skill. This gimmicked version for performing similar effects makes the effects much "cleaner" with no extra moves, and more magically effective. Ton Onosaka is a legend in magic and this routine shows you why. Now made with JUMBO cards and taught by Bob Sheets. All the moves and hysterical patter are included. The classic Game of "3-Card Monte" with a new Twist! Three cards are shown: two indifferent cards, and a court card. The spectator is asked to "find the picture card," but that's not possible, for now the performer holds three indifferent cards-the court card is found inside the magician's pocket! The game is repeated with the four-card set. Again, the spectator is unable to find the court card. The packet now consists of four indifferent cards; the court card is again inside the magician's pocket! The performer suggests that a five card game is too difficult, so one card is set aside. The remaining cards are mixed. The spectator is asked to locate the court card, and of course, suspects that the card put aside is the court card. In fact, that card turns out to be an indifferent card. The performer finally comments, "Perhaps Monte is not your game..." He turns the cards over to display a Royal Straight Flush in spades! GobSmacked w/ DVD - Damianou & Lovell The magician presents a blue deck of cards. The backs and fronts of the cards reveal it is a 52 card regular deck. The deck is placed face up on the table. This is the last time the magician will touch the deck. The spectator is asked to cut the deck around the mid point, and place the cut-off pile alongside the other pile. They then select one of the two piles, and the other pile is placed to one side. The magician asks the spectator to deal the cards face-up from the face-up pile, and stop at ANY card they wish. Which they do. A genuinely free choice. The selection is placed away from the rest of the deck, and the magician now takes the remaining cards and specifies that truly, the spectator had a free choice, and the card they chose isn't a duplicate of any of the other blue backed cards. This "Mismade Thank You" silk set is based on a concept of Steve Bender, owner of Ickle Pickle Products. The single "Mismade Thank You" silk has been around for many years, but Steve added a second normal "Thank You" silk to give the performer a better conclusion to the routine. This comical ending to a performance works very well for magicians, clowns, and M.C.'s At the conclusion of his act the performer displays a silk on which is written a mismade version of the words "Thank You." He turns the silk in various ways in an unsuccessful attempt to make the works look correct. Finally in disgust, he shoves the silk into either his hand or small cloth bag.
