Here's a fun routine for the classic Two In The Hand, One In The Pocket. You approach your audience with a closed fist and ask someone to guess what's inside. Finally, you tell them..."8 Balls!" With that you open your hand to reveal three miniature 8 Balls. You place one ball in your pocket and then close your hand around the other two. In a wink, your hand isopened to reveal...8 balls, but three instead of two! Again, you place a ball in your pocket and again it appears back in your hand! Finally, you try one more time. But this time when youopen your hand there's only one ball...but it's a full size replica of an 8 Ball! |
The magician displays a plastic pen, which is shown to be a solid, working pen. He chats a little about the people who are able to bend spoons and keys just by mental concentration. As he's talking, the performer rubs on the pen and it becomes flexible, bending like rubber. The pen is rubbed once again and becomes solid, and can be handed out to the audience for total examination!

When covered with a card, the coin placed in the "Bermuda Triangle" disappears in the blink of an eye! The black hole sucked in the coin, which then reappears underneath! |
The magician removes a small, clear plastic disc from a drawstring bag which has large, bright red spots on both sides. After clearly showing the disc on both sides, he covers it for a moment with his empty hand and the two red spots change to green and he immediately shows both hands empty! Again the disc is briefly covered and the green spots have now changed to yellow! Now, instead of covering the disc, the magician simply taps one side with the very end of his finger and one of the spots changes back to green! The performer then places the disc into his left hand, clearly showing the green side on top before closing his hand. When he opens his hand, the yellow side is up! Closing his hand again, the performer asks the audience which color is up now and no matter what their response, he opens his hand to reveal the disc now has a black spot on top! The performer offers to perform the effect one last time and closes his fist around the disc. When he opens his hand the disc has completely vanished, only to reappear back inside the small bag on the table! The disc is again tapped with the end of one finger and both spots change to white! The performer then places the disc onto the table for examination by the audience, but the only thing they discover is a large, gold question mark on one of the spots! Comes complete with the necessary gimmicks, drawstring bag and detailed instructions. |
Dr. Dave Kaplan's Prescription for Visual Magic You remove a small aspirin case from your pocket. Give it a little shake and it sounds like there's one pillleft. You slide the drawer open and dump the pill into your hand. Out comes a Huge aspirin. Obviously way too big to have come form the small container. Great visual magic and is sure to become one of your favorite pocket tricks. |
Have you ever been caught Red Handed doing your magic? Have children yelled out, "I know how you did that!" or "I saw it in your hand," or even the old favorite, "Turn it around!" Or maybe you've performed close-up magic and have caught looks from the spectators when they spied you doing "the move" which was supposed to be secret. Well, here's your chance to turn the tables on the hecklers and know-it-alls by letting them catch you Red Handed - on purpose! You stuff a 2 inch red sponge ball into your hand and it comes out an inch tall Big Red Hand. |
A borrowed bill is folded and sandwiched between a transparent clipboard. A playing card is then pushed through the center of the bill. It seems the bill has been slashed yet itis removed from the clipboad and returned unharmed. |
The performer borrows a dollar bill which is initialed by the spectator and the serial number is noted. The bill is now folded, secured with a rubberband and placed within the folds of a hank, held by the spectator. Performer now displays a small brass tube with a threaded lid and brass bar running through it and a lock. This is given to the spectator to hold in his free hand. The performer now snatches the hank from the spectator's hand and the hank proves to be empty! The dollar bill has vanished! Spectator himself removes the locking bar and unscrews the lid to the brass tube which he has been holding throughout the routine. Inside he finds the MISSING, signed bill! This is by far the most beautiful version of this effect. Highly polished brass, machined to perfection. Made by the people who know what true quality is all about. Don't be mislead, all Bill Tubes are not alike; this is the Rolls Royce of Bill Tubes, guaranteed to exceed all others in quality, beauty and performance. Comes complete with detailed instructions, Bill Tube, pin and brass lock. Viking products give you the power to create miracles with their precision workmanship. |
A borrowed bill is clearly inserted into a brass tube. The tube is sealed and given to a spectator. The spectator opens the tube and the bill has vanished. Combine this with the "Bill Tube" and you can have a signed bill vanish from one tube and appear inside another padlockedtube. |
Here's a sensational series of high impact effects, all incorporated into a self contained, hand crafted brass box that may be fully examined. Effect #1: A spectator is handed a small jewelry box and told to place it in his pocket. A card is freely selected, signed and returned to the deck. The card vanishes from the deck. It reappears inside the brass box that was inside the jewelry box held at all times by the spectator. (Jewelry box included) Effect #2: A spectator is invited to count the amount of change in his pocket. He does so, and announces the total. Performer points to a sturdy brass box that has been sitting on the table at all times. The box is opened and a folded billet dumped into the spectator's hand. On the billet is a note: I predict you'll be carrying precisely seventy-two cents in change. The uses for this lovely utility box are virtually unlimited. Use it for coins, medallions, wedding rings, cards or paper money. And when you're finished, let them examine the box. This remarkable piece of utility apparatus comes with a fully illustrated set of instructions. |
You ask for the loan of a bill. Any bill, any denomination. You display a small metal disc and explain that it is made of an unidentifiable material that you found while visiting what was rumored to be the site of a UFO crash! As you begin to rub the disc across the bill, it suddenly appears to melt halfway through! This is a startling and visual effect. To finish, you cause the disc to actally pop right through the bill and into the spectator's waiting hands. |
Nothing could be simpler, or easier to perform. A small paddle is introduced and shows a Picture of a colorful Parrot. Both sides are shown to be the same. In an instant the Parrot changes to an empty bird cage shown on both sides. But before you know it, the picture has changed again. It's Parrot is now seen to be INSIDE the bird cage. Everyone that is familiar with Mr. Porper's creations knows that when they buy something made by him, they are buying something of quality. |
You show two paddles, one with a parrot and one with a cage. With a little magic you make the parrot fly to the other paddle and land in the cage! Great trick! |
For those of you hungry for original magic, with just a pinch of INSANITY, dinner is now served! Start by displaying both sides of your credit card, then go crazy literally BITE THE CORNER OFF your credit card! Show em the bite mark and chew a bit, you dont wanna choke yourself But plastic tastes awful, doesn't it? It's bad for your health too, and we cannot be held responsible, so aim from a distance and SPIT IT BACK onto the card. In a blink of an eye the card will be FLAWLESSLY RESTORED to mint condition. Now hand them the card to verify it's as good as new. Bite-Off Credit Card is not just an effect, it's the top of the food chain!
