Dove Magic |
The Classic Balloon to Dove Tray is as beautiful to look at as it is to perform. The magician's assistant enters carrying a thin looking red tray. The magician inflates a large round balloon and attaches it to the center of a thin tray. At his command, or if he chooses he can shoot a blank gun at the balloon. The balloon suddenly bursts and a live dove appears, seemingly right out of the balloon! The release mechanism on this tray is a joy to use and is invisible from all sides and the top.

The effect includes the box, stand and table top. All are attached together, and is deceptively made so as to be able to place parts of the dove into the stand and table top. Effect On the magician's table rests a small long box made of three sections. The left/right sections are movable and the center section is stationary. The box appears to be large enough to hold only one dove! The Magician opens the door and places a dove inside. Both left and right sections of the box are pushed into the middle, compressing the box to a small cube! Now 5 silver spikes are driven through the little cube...the dove has apparently vanished! This dove holder is made so that the dove is always snug and secure. All you have to remember is to load the dove tail first, making sure that the dove's legs are extended back toward the tail. Now fasten the Velcro, adjusting it so the dove is snug and secure. This is one of the best ways of fastening the "loop" of the holder to the inside of the jacket. For years dove workers used tape, pins, clips, etc... This Version using velcro, you will find, is the easiest and most reliable. |

After some magical passes the box is opened and the hanky is taken out. It is found to be completely blank. The painting of the doves are gone. Then from inside the box, the magician pulls out a large cage containing Two Live Doves! |
