Kid's Show Magic |
Three brightly printed cards are shown. One contains the letter "A", the second the letter "B" and finally the letter "C". The cards are placed in an envelope and then two are removed. The "A" and "C". The third card can be seen sticking out of the envelope but the performer says it has vanished. As the kids scream the magician removes the card from the envelope to show that card has a picture of a "Bee". The stinging kind. The kids will continue to scream for the card to be turned around thinking it has a letter "B" on the opposite side. The card is flipped over and it has printed the words "STUNG"! Printed in beautiful colors on a heavy gloss board, TAIL SPIN will make your head spin! This hilarious prop is guaranteed to make kids snort and bray! They won't be able to keep their laughter "burro"-ed! You show a picture of the cutest little ol' donkey you ever saw. But the poor fellow is missing his tail. Slide the donkey picture (a very visible 5 x 8.5 inches) into an envelope with a large window. A child pretends to throw the tail, and when you pull out the donkey, the tail is stuck to his nose. His eyes are crossed and his ears bent back in surprise! Kids howl! It's not the helper's fault -- you know how stubborn donkeys are! Put it back in, try again, and this time when you pull it out, the tail is completely gone. You look all around for it, and suddenly the kids scream their lungs out because the tail is hanging out of the back of your pants! Trust me on this, the children will weep with joy! This bit of tomfoolery can be used in a variety of settings. It's perfect for birthday parties, of course, but it works great in day care shows, library programs, and school assemblies. Based on an idea by Edwin Hooper with a twist by Selina Frederick. Using Selina's wonderful artwork, TAIL SPIN is printed in full color on heavy boards with a high-gloss finish. You're bound to get a KICK out of this one! |
A really great prop for childrens shows or for anyone using balloons in their act. A great item to use for the production of 260 animal balloons. The performer displays an empty cloth bag whose interior is decorated with a balloon print. He realizes he needs some real balloons for his next trick but seems to have forgotten them. Ah, he has an idea. He shows the bag inside and out, then he waves his hand over the empty bag. Now he reaches inside and produces handfuls of balloons! He turns the bag inside out again and all the balloons pictured on the cloth have VANISHESD! The balloons that were once printed on the inside have now dropped from the printed cloth and have become real balloons! The interior cloth of the bag is now just a plain color with no balloon printing. Easy to perform, quality made by Viking to last a lifetime. Beautiful blue velvet boag with red trim complete with instructions. |
Packs small plays big! Great entertainment! A picture of a white rabbit is placed into a largeempty grocery bag. When you remove the picture the rabbit's color has changed to green. Four pictures, one of a prisoner and the other three of empty jail cells are shown.A story is told how this prisoner was one of the hardest men to keep in jail. One of the empty jail cells is placed aside, and a game is begun with the children to see if they can keep track of the prisoner. Although you have three cards left in your hand, no matter which card the audience selects as the "prisoner" card it will be of an empty jail cell.Even as the cards are eliminated one by one the audience will not be able to find the prisoner. Finally the prisoner is shown to be secured behind bars on the first card that was removed even though the card was placed in a large envelope and remained in full sight of the audience. This is perfect for school shows. The large 9" x 14" cards are beautifully silk screened in vivid colors. |

The magician challenges a few children to a "bubble gum pulling contest." He hands each child a wrapped piece of gum and explains that whoever can stretch their gum the furthest wins. In turn, each child tries and can only get their gum to stretch a few feet, but when it's the magician's turn, he stretches his gum over twenty feet! The kids go wild with laughter. You show a blue hat, which you place on your young helper's head. Oops, it's too small ... so you expand it into a bigger GREEN hat. No, still too small ... so you make it into an even bigger RED hat. Not big enough, so you expand it into a bigger POLKA DOT hat. You do it again, and turn it into a GIANT STRIPED hat! Turn the striped hat around and there's a really funny Giant's Face on the other side! Silk screened on a special bookbinder's material, made from plastic and very strong -- use it over and over again. |
The Coloring Book Enters the 21st Century! You flip through a book titled "The Treasure Map to the Libraries," showing a picture of a large treasure chest on each page, explaining that "The library is like a treasure chest." Next you ask the audience, "What kind of treasure you might find in the library?" When they respond "Books!" you flip through the book again. But this time the pictures have changed to books! "That's right," you say. "Books are the treasure we find in the library." You further explain that "The true treasure is the knowledge that we gain from reading the books. And the best part is it's available to everyone!" As you say this last line you begin to flip through the book again, this time showing treasure chests opened up and full of treasure. And now for the finale: You now fold the book in half (lengthwise) and have the audience recite the magic words, "Reading is Magic!" As the magic words are said, you pour from the folded book a supply of golden coins!
