The magician presents a wallet to the spectator, and offers them a free choice of the three objects that are inside the wallet; a credit card, business card, and a bank note. Before the spectator can choose the items, the magician writes down a prediction of which items will be placed in which pocket of the spectator. The magician then looks away and shields his eyes, and asks the spectator to take the three items out of the wallet one at a time. As the spectator pulls out each item, the magician tells them to put that item in a certain pocket. Once the spectator has finished randomly selecting the objects, the magician turns back to the spectator and pulls out his prediction. One by one, the magician names the location of each object, to the amazement of both the spectator and the audience! |

The Clipboard it self is a very regular and simple black and very thin board, which gives it a very innocent look. It is standard letter size. Actually it is a modified regular clipboard with a small but very significant addition. The performer places a one dollar bill and a one hundred dollar bill on the table along with a quarter. The spectator is asked to spin the quarter on the table while the performer's back is turned. When the quarter comes to rest the spectator is asked to remember which side is up. The spectator places the magician's wallet over the quarter so it is completely hidden. Next the spectator is asked to hide one bill in each hand. All this is done while the performer's back is turned. The performer turns around and removes 3 business cards from his pocket. He writes down something on each one and places one in front of each of the spectator's hands and one in front of the wallet. From this point the spectator opens his hands, revealing which bill is in which hand and THEY turn over the business cards proving both correct! But wait... remember the quarter? The spectator lifts the wallet revealing the quarter landed heads side up. Again THEY turn over the business card revealing the words "Heads Side Up." This is ACCURACY. Key points:

Seven plastic sheets of printed numbers are shown. The spectator is shown each sheetand asked if there age appears. After all seven sheets have been shown the magician can instantly announce the persons age. Completely automatic! |
The spectator freely selects any one of the five ESP symbols. There is absolutely no force. The performer displays a Poker Chip, blank on both sides and drops it into a small pay envelope. The spectator is asked to concentrate on his selected symbol, as the envelope with the blank chip is held to his forehead. When the spectator subsequently opens the envelope, an impression of his selected design is found to have transferred onto the chip, engraved on it. That is the original effect, but we have added more. Variations include making the selected design jump off the card, which is now blank, and be found engraved on the chip. The legend tells that in the year 141 A.D. Antoninus Pius, The Roman Empire Emperor, had to go on a journey due to problems with the borders, while his beloved had to remain in the city. It is said that during that time, the Emperor communicated with his beloved in a very special and unique way: both had decided that, on a certain time of the day, she would write a message in the sand and Antoninus would randomly take some stones with different words engraved on them. He would turn the stones around and the message that appeared was the same as the one written on the sand (by his beloved). The following day Antoninus was the one who would write on the sand, and his beloved would choose the stones. In that way, at the end of that long journey, they were able to feel closer than ever before. After telling the legend, the magician shows his audience six engraved wooden pieces which he will lay face down on a table. He also shows them a beautiful box with sand inside of it. The magician explains that, in the way of Antoninus, he has drawn a picture on the sand inside the box, which is now hermetically sealed, and he asks someone from the audience to hold the box in their hands and choose one of the six wooden pieces. When the box is opened, the picture on the sand is the same as the one on the wooden piece. The magician explains that this has been only one part of the experience and that now the participant (as Antoninus' beloved) will draw something on the sand and the magician (as the Emperor) will choose a piece and once again the experience will be successful. In order to do that, you need some sort of benchmark to compare them against. There are various items that could serve this purpose, from tarot cards to personality profiles. You then wrap things up by revealing her zodiac sign, with no pumping or guesswork. With that, not only have you done much better than the magazine, but you've given the volunteer an intimate, inexplicable experience that she'll never forget. Astor Epic (No force Mental Epic) actually is the newest improved version of the Mental Epic. Similarly to the Mental Epic you can predict 3 different things with Astor Epic too 100%. For this trick the magician uses a transparent perspex board, five E. S. P. cards with blue back and five E. S. P. cards with red back. Every blue backed card has its matching red backed card. You will have the same E. S. P. symbols on the faces of these cards. The magician slips the blue cards into their slots on the board in an order only he knows. The spectator chooses one by one, in which matching slot the red cards should go, but he only sees the back of the cards. When the magician turns the board around, the blue back and red back cards are in the same order (top to bottom). You can show the trick twice and the order of the cards won't be the same. The cards are not specially prepared.  |
Know Your Spectator's Zodiac Sign and Date of Birth! The performer hands a spectator a small notebook which contains all the signs of the Zodiac. The spectator secretly finds his astrological sign and writes down his name. Despite the fact that the performer never sees the spectator's sign, and without any "fishing" or moves, the performer instantly names the spectator's sign of the Zodiac! Next, the spectator looks through the book and finds the page numbered with the year of his birth. Again, without any questions or moves, the performer instantly knows the day and month in which the spectator was born!

The Attaboy is among the finest in apparatus, mental magic. The original concept is credited to Jack Hughes, who made several models working on the same basic priciple. This Bellboy model is based on the first and original model from which the trick gets it's name. The apparatus resembles a cut-out of a Bellboy, with two houlettes, one at his feet, and one near his hands. The houlettes hold a deck of cards, and cut-out fronts in the houlettes enable the audience to see what is inside the houlette. A pack of cards is displayed, which may be examined and shuffled by the audience. Spectators freely select one or more cards. Cards are noted, and shuffled back into the pack. The pack is placed in the houlette at the bottom. The cards are now taken from the houlette at the bottom, passed one at a time slowly in front of the Bellboy's eyes, and placed in the houlette on top. The spectators are invited to call "Stop" whenever they like. When they call stop, the card stopped at is turned around to show the face, and it is one of the selected cards. This is repeated for the other selected cards. The trick is absolutely amazing, because there is no force of a card, and the spectators are free to stop you at any card as you slowly transfer them one at a time from the houlette at the bottom to the houlette on top. The cards stopped at are the very same cards selected by the audience, - they may be signed if you so wish. The trick is totally mechanical and requires no palming, switches, or any elaborate sleights. The apparatus we supply stands 20" high, on a base measuring approximately 4" x 6". It is constructed from plywood and solid wood, and hand painted. The base and cut-out open out for ease in transportation, with the cut-out simply plugging into the base for instant assembling.
