Performer opens the lid of a small box and shows the inside of the box is completely occupied by six dice. They are serially arranged from one to six inside the box. Performer covers the lid of the box and hands over another dice to the spectators. A spectator throws this dice on top of the closed box. Presume the number thrown is 4. He opens the box and Surprise! All the 4 spots are now on top of the six dice inside the box. And the spectators can examine the box and dice to their heart's content. |
A spectator places a brass die inside a small canister and closes the lid.The magician has no idea which number on the die is uppermost yet by holding the canister for just a couple of seconds he can announce the correct number every time. Beautifully Made! |
Richard Osterlind's DIGITAL FEEDBACK takes the traditional add-a-number routine into the 21st century.
Imagine two groups of spectators, each multiplying two 2-digit numbers on a pocket calculator to arrive at a totally random 4-digit number. The performer writes a prediction and sets it aside. He then begins to slowly reveal the numbers that make up the 4-digit products arrived at by the spectators. The mulitplication is then done by longhand to show that the calculator's products were correct. For the mind-numbing finish, the two products are added together and found to match the performer's prediction.
This routine, originally featured in Osterlind's Dynamic Mysteries, has not been widely performed due to the difficulties in obtaining the proper apparatus. Now, with DIGITAL FEEDBACK, you'll be able to add this powerful routine to your own show.
You receive the very special scientific calculator, hand-modified by Richard Osterlind, plus a manuscript which describes this powerful routine, in addition to other possible effects. Please don't confuse this with other calculators that have been on the market. The DIGITAL FEEDBACK calculator is totally examinable and will function normally, yet its secret will allow you to do very extraordinary things. |

Divine Time is a reputation maker. Your audience will be stunned when you divine the time on a freely chosen watch from your personal collection! No pre-show, no fishing, no prompting...no way! Effect You relate to the audience your fascination with time, and display part of your collection of digital watches in a large, clear plastic bag. You further share your thoughts on the widespread belief that energy and rhythms flow through the universe, and that while time is relative, it too is just a series of vibrations. To that end, you briefly enlighten the audience to the inner workings of a quartz watch, and state that the quartz crystal's vibrations could theoretically be transmitted through an individual. Only very perceptive people can feel these subtle pulses, you explain, and you wish to try an experiment with this premise tonight! After inviting a spectator up on stage, they confirm that the watches in your collection all show random times. Without looking, they freely choose a watch, and hide it behind their back. The spectator, the audience, and you have no clue as to which watch was picked. Then by using the vibrations that the quartz crystal emits, and by utilizing a knock-out and somewhat eerie routine, you are able to divine the time on the watch! The spectator leaves the stage completely baffled, and the audience has been totally mystified with a new-age and innovative presentation!
Some key points to remember: - Self-contained.
- No pre-show work, no fishing, no prompting.
- You choose the time that will be revealed. Resets in about 5 minutes, and is repeatable with any different time using our "Time Control" method.
- The spectator, the audience, and you never see the watch until the spectator reveals it at the end of the routine.
- The spectator can examine and even keep the watch at the end of the routine.
- There's nothing to find!
Comes complete and ready to go with the bag, 20 digital watches, instructional DVD, detailed manuscript, and full routi

DOUBLE-DOWN is A PERFECT DUAL DIVINATION USING REAL CASINO CARDS!
This is a very straightforward dual-divination that involves very little work in proportion to the impact of the effect. It is very clean with all actions justified and at the end there is nothing for the spectators to retrace. No sleights, nothing written down, no marked cards, and everything is examinable. Just a lot of fun with cool props and some powerful mentalism.
EFFECT:
The mentalist shows his "card collection" of some souvenir playing cards from various casinos. Each card is from a different casino and each face has a different value. A spectator is invited to cut off some of the cards for himself (no force) and the remainder is given to a second spectator. Each freely shuffles their respective packets, even turning cards face up or face down as they wish, and each spectator thinks of a secret number...nothing is ever said or written down. The packet is reassembled and again shuffled by each spectator if they wish; again some cards face up and some face down if they desire.
The performer shows the cards to the spectators and they only think of either the particular casino or playing card value that falls on their secret mental number as the cards are shown. Since the cards are in such a mess either could be showing. Nothing is ever said or written down by either spectator yet the performer not only tells each spectator whether they thought of a casino or a playing card he then goes on to name the exact casino names or the values of the playing cards!
"I just got Bryn’s Double-Down. This is a killer card effect that has great props! You show a bunch of Casino cards (the kind you buy directly from the Casino with holes punched in them or corners rounded) from all the major hotels in Las Vegas. The cards are fairly divided between 2 spectators and mixed up. I mean they are “really” mixed up both face-up and face-down! They are reassembled and further mixed if you want. Then the 2 spectators each “mentally” choose a number and a card as they are fairly fanned in front of them. The mentalist then names either the Casino name or the card itself depending on what way they are facing. It is direct, fun and uses great props!" - Richard Osterlind |
TWO KILLER EFFECTS Feature 1 Flip through The Century's 100 Classic Films to show that every page is different - each two-page spread lists details of a classic film and an image of its lobby poster. Your helpers slide bookmarks between pages to select three completely different films.
Opening the book to those pages, they secretly select a title, an actor, and an actress that they combine to make a unique fantasy flick. An envelope that's been in plain sight is opened and the contents shown & read aloud - just like at the Academy Awards.
It is a 100% accurate prediction of the random choices made! Can be repeated and the fantasy flick will be entirely different.
As a kicker, your helper can freely select from among the thousands of production crew listed for all the films and you can reveal every detail of that name too!
Feature 2 Ask a participant for his day and month of birth. When he reads aloud from that day's entry in On This Day everyone hears the unique events that took place on that date.
Another helper and a new birth date obviously yield entirely different historical information. Then you ask a third person merely to think of his birthday. Instantly you void your impressions, writing the key phrases or sketching your thoughts. He reads aloud the entry for that day of the year - totally verifying your notations!
These books are packed with photos - all different - and employ multiple methods to fool the wise guys. Plus, hidden cues are incorporated into the back cover graphics for trouble-free shows. |

A spectator shakes three colored dice inside a coffee cup, then peeks inside and announces the total. Next he memorizes the number on one of the dice, then inverts the cup on the table with the dice underneath. Up until now no one else has seen the dice.
"You told me the total - do you think I can tell you the number you saw on the die?" The spectator ponders this question for a moment while you slowly place your hand on top of the inverted cup. Suddenly you lift your hand and one of the dice is seen resting on top of the cup with the chosen number on top! Lift the cup and reveal the remaining two dice, then smile at the stunned faces of your audience.
Double Whammy comes complete with the dice and special gimmick. Any coffee cup can be used. |
The performer places a wallet on the table. The spectator is shown 5 ESP cards and is asked to select one.
This is a perfectly free choice. No force of any kind.
After a card is selected the performer removes an envelope from the wallet. The envelope is opened and inside is one card. It matches the spectator freely chosen selection. |
Kenton worked out an incredible effect for Keith Barry and his television series. The effect is based on a rumor of a trick that Joseph Dunninger loved and considered trying to do.
While it is debatable if Dunninger ever performed the effect, Kenton's methods have been performed now under many different conditions.
Effect: A spectator stops at a random card in the deck or two spectators "create a card" by rolling a pair of normal dice and naming a suit. For example, they create the Seven of Hearts as their chosen card.
A deck setting on the table the entire time is given to a spectator. They are to look through the deck and be certain the card they chose is in this deck. They agree that it is. The performer never touches the cards once the spectators agree the card they chose is in the deck. The spectators are asked to be sure their card is in the deck several times.
The mentalists concentrates and attempts to project the card out of the deck and into (say) the spectator's shoe. The spectators go through the deck that has been in their hands the entire time to find that their card is now truly gone from the deck! "Your shoe is too easy" says the performer, "How about we put it under the carpet or... no... under the plant over there"!
The performer never goes near where he says he has made the card teletransport. The spectators find their chosen card not only gone from the deck, but under the plant - or nearly any odd place you choose.
This is a startling effect. Supplied are both the simple version and the more daring, psychological version for professionals. Either method is stunning. You get all the details as created by Kenton for Keith Barry and himself, and of course the special needed extras.
Use your own Bicycle deck of cards NO stooges or secret helpers. No linguistics in this advertising when we say the performer does not need to touch the cards at all. Both spectators are fooled. No hidden assistants. This may be a card trick, but it will look like the most impressive feat of mentalism and teleportation ever. This is as real as it gets! |
We've got them! A HOT new mentalism effect from the deviant mind of Dennis Loomis! The Dynamite Book Test! Super easy to do and darn sneaky. Read every word carefully. Nothing has been left out. If the description fools you, you will be devastated by the effect.
A spectator is freely chosen, not a prearranged confederate or stooge. You walk to the other side of the stage and turn your back or are legitimately blindfolded. No peeking. The spectator is given an absolutely free choice of one of three paperback books. The spectator picks up any book, thinks of any page number, does not tell anyone the page number, writes nothing down, no force, and the spectator can change his mind as often as he wishes. The spectator opens the book to that page number and thinks of the first word on the page. With no pumping, nothing written, no letter by letter spelling, you name the word. The spectator thinks of any other page number, tells no one the page number, he can change his mind as often as he wishes, and turns to that page. The spectator looks at the last word on the page. You tell him the word he is looking at. The climax is beyond belief. The spectator thinks of any other page number, changes his or her mind as often as he or she wishes, tells no one, turns to that page, and is instructed to look at ANY OTHER WORD on the page. You do not know the page number. You read his mind and reveal the word he is staring at. - No prearranged stooges or confederates. No peeks. No mirrors. No reflectors.
- No force of the book. Nothing written. Absolutely free choice of book and page number at every stage.
- No assistants. No electronics. No pumping. No progressive anagrams. No cribs.

ESP Die CipherA Mind Reading Miracle ! EFFECT: A brass canister, lid and die are examined by a spectator. The die has six different symbols, one on each side. While the performer looks away, a spectator places the die into the canister any way he wants, he then remembers the symbol on the top of the die and then covers the lid. The performer turns around, picks up the box and hands it to the spectator, asking him to hold it and concentrate on his symbol. Next, the performer picks up a piece of paper, concentrates, then draws a symbol. The lid is removed from the box and the performer's paper is turned around...The symbols match! Those familiar with Die-Cipher II will love the layout of ESP Die-Cipher! It is simple, thanks to some added modifications on the die. |
