Cut a rope into two pieces. Show both ends wide apart. Place the ends together and the rope automatically and visually melts together while your fingers are wide apart! You won't believe your eyes. The most visual cut and restored rope trick ever invented! An ordinary rope is placed inside the cutting machine. The spectator decides where the cut will be made. In full view the rope is sliced into two parts. The cutting machine is returned to it's normal position and the rope is removed, completely restored. |
Patrick Page has updated the classic Cut and Restored Rope trick into a clean, simple, and directmasterpiece. The magician fairly and cleanly cuts a piece of rope in two. The separate pieces are tied together with a sturdy knot. Suddenly, in a pretty, visual manner, the rope is instantly restored into one piece. The knot seems to simply melt away, in full view of the audience. There is nothing complicated about this trick. It's almost as easy to perform as the description! Just cut the rope, tie the two pieces into a knot, and then gracefully restore it into one piece with nary a suspicious move. It all happens in full view. This FISM award winner is available again! The magician asks a spectator to cut three 4-foot lengths of rope from an ordinary hank of rope. Two audience volunteers handle the ropes several times, thus assuring the audience that the three ropes ae just what they appear to be. Yes, unmistakably ordinary, separate, and of equal length. The magician then performs some initial basic magic with the three ropes. Suddenly the three ropes become transformed to three unequal ropes. The magician then explains that he only made the ropes appear to be unequal. He lets the audience in on the simple 'secret' (don't worry, no real secrets are actually exposed). No sooner does the audience finish chuckling at how easily it had been deceived, than the ropes are shown to be actually unequal. Yes, unmistakably separate and unequal.Just as the audience gets over this shock, the three ropes suddenly become equal once again. Yes, unmistakably separate and equal. The routine has come full circle, and after performing some more magic with the same three ropes, the magician hands them out as souvenirs for examination. |
The magician displays three ropes in his closed fist, offering a cash prize to the spectator that can select the rope with a secret marking on it. Despite his best efforts, the spectator's two selections are NEVER correct. The specetator pulls two ropes from the magicians fist, and neither has the secret mark. Offering to show the spectator's what they were missing, the magician opens his hand. The secret mark he alluded to was, in fact, a dollar bill (or whichever denomination you can afford) tied to the rope! The magician removes the bill and unties the knot. The trick is self-working, and comes complete with three hand-knitted ropes made in Europe. There is no equivoque or forcing - the spectators really do have a free choice of ropes. |
A length of a white rope with a knot tied in its center is used to do incredible magic. Slide the knot to the right end of the rope and then all the way to the left. For the spectator not impressed by a mere travelling knot, open your hand to reveal that the knot has changed red!Next, the red knot is moved back and forth from one end to the other, and just when everyone begins to suspect a fake knot, the knot is untied to show the rope is actually red in that spot! A self contained miracle. |
The performer displays a 36 inch length of rope, and hands it out to the audience for inspection. The rope , he claims is the famed "Kobra Kord of Kundu" a legendary rope from India imbued with the powers of the cobra snake! He attempts to recreate the legendary feat in which a snake charmer uses mystic powers to make the cobra rise from a basket. He strokes the rope in his hands twice, three times...nothing happens! Realizing that the magic spell can only be cast by symbolically recreating the cobra, the performer ties a knot at one end of the rope, symbolizing the cobra's head. He strokes the rope again, and this time the rope remains rigid, standing straight up as if possessed by some magic force. At the snap of his fingers, the rope once again goes limp. Again, if desired the rope can be handed out for examination. |

In this truly incredible rope routine, the performer starts with a single rope. He/she then proceeds to cut the one rope in two. Now with two ropes, the performer magically mends the ropes together. After he/she has done so, the magician then without cutting, makes four separate ropes! The magician can mend the ropes into one rope once more and then separate them one last time. You show an elegant velvet bag with three colored ropes dangling from it. You say that one rope is different from the others (colors aside). A spectator FREELY (and we mean FREELY) selects one rope and HE removes the other two from the bag. They do not have a knot. He then removes the third rope and it is seen to have a knot (and the spectator can UNTIE it!). Comes complete with ropes, bag, and detailed instructions for performing this awesome effect! |

Display three separate pieces of rope. Give them a pull and they visually transform into two pieces. Then they change to one long piece. Another tug and the rope seems to have three ends. A final tug and the ropes has four ends. Just as magically the rope turns back into three ropes of equal lengths. |
