Anytime during your show you take off your coat, let it hang casually over your shoulder and throw your tie backwards over the opposite shoulder. A split second later the tie rises above your shoulder and... it's alive! It can dance, sing and even find a card chosen by a spectator! At the end of this routine you put the tie in its original position, put on your coat and continue with your act.
It's a must have for MCs, corporate performers, for ventriloquism, to sing along, to tell jokes. It's one of those tricks where the only limit is your own imagination. |
This improved version can be performed completely surrounded. The audience sees two chairs with a board laying across the backs. Someone from the audience is invited to lay on the board. They are covered with a cloth and the chair supporting their feet is removed leaving them and the board suspended in air. The board is now removed and they still remain suspended! Performer can walk completely away while the person remains suspended. Anyone up to 100 pounds can be used. Packs flat and weighs only 33 pounds. |

The performer shows rectangular silk, which is black in color. As the performer dances with the silk, the silk changes to a multi-color silk. Made of quality silk, the serpentine silk measures over 5 1/2" in width and 40"in length. Highly compressible, can be used as a production silk with a color changing effect also. |
Performer displays a square wooden chest with front and back openings, which the audience can see completely through. The chest is put around a spectator's head, and panels used to close the back and front, effectively trapping the head in the chest. Several daggers are now pushed through slots on the sides of the chest. Apparently they penetrate right through the head! The front panel is now lifted away. The inside of the chest is seen to be crisscrossed with daggers. There seems to be no room to conceal anything between the dagger blades. And the spectator's head has completely vanished. The front panel is now reinserted, and the daggers removed. Panels are then lifted away to reveal the spectator's head completely unharmed. The chest is pulled off the head, and the blind fold removed. This is one of the most popular illusions of all times. Our folding model collapses to a small compact size that can be carried in a briefcase. It can be erected in less than two minutes into a rigid form, which does not fall to pieces under normal handling. And you can dismantle it in a jiffy. Another special feature of our Dagger Chest is that you can use it with any spectator from the audience. The assistant has absolutely no part to play in the working. The spring hinged pieces open automatically when the daggers are inserted, and closed silently when the daggers are removed. By using a spectator from the audience (blindfolded so that they do not see the internal working), you greatly enhance the effect. |

Dead Zone PRO by Andy Nyman Quite possibly the coolest Mentalism routine ever! After more than two years of planning and prototypes they have finally cracked it with the ultimate one-man version of Andy Nyman's classic effect. For those of you not familiar with the Dead Zone plot here is what the audience sees: A spectator is invited to the stage to help test your abilities in the new defense technique known as "Dead Zoning" and after explaining that it is a combination of heightened body language reading, plus the ability to imagine a 'Dead Zone' on the person you are looking at - in essence it allows you to know whether someone poses a threat to you just by looking at them. The technique is now taught to bodyguards, secret service agents and airport security personnel. At this point you explain that you imagine the "Dead Zone" as a target and then proceed to stick a picture of a target onto the spectator then ask him to imagine that he is an assassin and draw his attention to the case on the table. You explain that it contains a selection of weapons that may be used by an assassin and ask him to open the case and take a look inside. You turn your back to the spectator & instruct the spectator to place each of the weapons into his pockets. Once done, you turn to face him and ask him to walk away from you. After a couple of steps you stop him and by staring at the 'Dead Zone' you CORRECTLY reveal which weapons are in which pocket! As the applause fades you explain that sometimes if you really tune into the 'Dead Zone' you can know what is going to happen before the thoughts even enter the other persons head. You ask him to remove the 'Dead Zone' target that you stuck on him & open it up. It is a prediction that correctly states which of the weapons he would place in which pockets with perfect, 100% accuracy every time!
