The magician, wearing one black glove and one white glove (included), clasps his hands together and takes off the gloves. The gloves are then thrown into the air, turning into a black and white striped streamer (3 in. x 12 ft.), which unrolls over the heads of the audience. Today the Interactive Hank is the newest invention for the moving or animating hank. It moves in two directions, side-to-side and back-to-front. You can even combine two movements together such as movement to the left and to the front at the same time, etc. You have 100% control of the movement of the hank and the speed of the movement - anytime - in your routine. The classic "Snowstorm in China" effect is one of the most visually appealing effects possible. The performer shows his hands empty, then displays a sheet of tissue paper and tears it into strips. He bundles the strips together and places them into a tumbler which is then filled with water. The performer then begins pouring the water out of the tumbler with one hand and waving a fan with the other. Reed McClintock's Sands of Time Effect: You begin by telling a story about once being a watch repairman and luckily enough you still have your repair kit. You remove your watch for all to see, placing it in your hand and pulling a hammer out of your kit. You act as if you're going to smash your hand, then explaining that it's just a joke, put the hammer away. You squeeze the hand that's holding the watch and a rush of sand falls to the floor. You reach into your pocket to stop the flow and then pull your hand out to show it empty. A seemingly endless flow of sand is now pouring out of your other hand. Once the sand stops pouring you show your hands empty. You then use the hammer as a wand, waving it over your arm. You pull your sleeve back to show the watch has reappeared on your wrist. You accept your applause and show both hands empty. One final time, sand pours out of both hands. You take another bow as you show your hands completely empty again. Officially Authorized by Billy McComb A laugh Filled Comedy Routine With a Touch of Elegance Claiming to be attuned to his volunteer's taste in fine art, the magician shows the rest of the audience a prediction - a large -format, reproduction of the Mona Lisa - and sets it aside. He now explains to the spectator that she will make a random choice from a stack of several reproductions of paintings. The performer holds up the paintings so the audience can see them, but not the volunteer, who is unaware that all the paintings are the Mona Lisa. The audience laughs as it realizes the performer is about to con his lovely volunteer. As he displays each Mona Lisa to the audience, the performer miscalls each painting, saying one is a Monet, an Andy Warhol, a Dali, etc. Whenever the spectator says "Stop," the magician hands her the painting to hold but tells her not to peek at it yet. The Magician picks up his prediction and confidently asks the name of the artist she has chosen but is bewildered when she says she has selected a Van Gogh! (Yes, we've marked the artist's name clearly at the bottom of the painting so the spectator will know it was painted by Van Gogh.) The Magician looks for himself, and sure enough, she has ended up with an intense Van Gogh self-portrait. But when the performer turns around his prediction, it has magically changed to a Van Gogh as well, ending the routine on a note of artistic triumph!
