Deck Tailor End Stripper Deck - Bicycle Red - Professional Cut

Please note: These are professional grade - please purchase only if you have had experience using stripper decks. These decks are not for beginners.

End strippers are cut on the short sides - the ends - use them for overhand shuffles. (For Hindu shuffles, use our edge strippers.)

Deck boxes are open but cards are in factory fresh, new deck order.

END STRIPPER DECKS - PREMIUM GRADE

You can usually spot a magician using a traditional stripper deck from a mile away. How? Easy. How often do you see an average person shuffling cards Hindu-style? Whether it’s on the table or in the hands, a Hindu shuffle will tell even some non-professionals that there’s likely something up with your deck.

Make your card magic more effective and really burn your spectators, even the ones who played with stripper decks as kids - use an End Stripper Deck! These decks are cut on the short side (top or bottom) rather than the long side (left or right) with a diff. 0.5 mm +/- 0.05 mm. More importantly, they’re handled using a more traditional, overhand shuffle movement. End stripper decks are scarce even in magic shops, but these are as easy to use as traditional stripper decks with very little practice.

WHAT IS A “DIFFERENTIAL”?
Don Boyer, the Deck Tailor, measures his work in wedge-cut decks using something he calls the “differential,” or “diff.” for short. This is the measurement change created in one dimension when the deck is cut at an angle in the other dimension. For example, if you make a traditional stripper deck, cutting along the long side of the deck, the differential would be the change in width of the cards from the top of the deck to the bottom of the deck as a result of the cut. When cutting along the short side, the differential would be the change in the length of the cards from one side of the deck to the other side as a result of the cut. The broader the cut, the easier the deck is to manipulate using the gaff work, but at the same time, the easier the work becomes to spot.
