You present to your audience an assortment of 10 poker chips. Each chip is a different color and denomination. Explain that you will turn your back and they are to select one chip and drop it in the bag. With your back still turned they drop in the remaining 9 chips. There are no funny moves. All the chips are clearly dropped in the bag. The performer now turns around and begins removing chips randomly one by one. With each chip you make an analysis. It appears you are reading their "Tells". For example you might say "Red. This isn't your color" or "Green, I sense money isn't important to you", "$1.00, too low a value", "Blue, I saw slight movement in your lip on that one". You proceed through all the chips separating them into 2 piles. A "no" pile and a "maybe" pile. Once all the chips are on the table you are able to correctly identify their chosen chip.
Easy to do but a real fooler.
Need a shorter routine, use fewer chips.
Make it funny, Make it serious. Suitable for any performance style.
Instantly repeatable. Nothing to hide.
We have been demonstrating this in the shop and fooling magicians. It's a great routine that you will love to perform. It won't end up in the sock drawer. - Howard Katz
