A borrowed and marked coin vanishes only to appear in a small padlocked box all while in full view.
A spectator marks a borrowed quarter for identification. This is placed within the folds of a handkerchief and held by spectator. Next, a small-padlocked chest (2x2x1) is shown and placed on the spectator's open palm. A magical pass and the hank is whisked away revealing that the coin has vanished. Attention is drawn to the chest, which has been under the spectator's control throughout. He opens the chest himself and finds the marked coin inside!
Remember: The chest is in full view before the coin vanishes. The coin found in the chest is the actual marked coin.
Chest is made of select hardwoods with brass hardware and lock. Finest Viking quality.
This is an attractive little wooden box with a padlock. It's small enough to carry in your pocket. The way I use it: A coin visibly vanishes from a QuartOkito box and then mysteriously re-appears in the little locked wood box. Spectators are truly amazed. The box serves the same function as the Nest of Boxes, but I decided the box is more practical for walk-around than the Nest because the box can be re-set pretty quickly -- although I have yet to find a way to re-set it instantly and in front of spectators. I would give this product 5 stars, except that my box had a couple nail or brad heads sticking out, and just at the place that might alert spectators to the box's secret. It's something I can fix myself fairly easily, but just the same I think that the maker should have caught the defect before sending it out. - James Wood
